The events branded are enjoying great success XRace, the new product curated by Yaw Club. Kart races, thrilling endurance, opportunities to take part in exciting track days aboard Legend Cars and much more. The goal? To make the passion for engines accessible to all everyone's reach.
With XRace, Yaw Club brings motorsport everywhere!
There is a great desire to grow for Yaw Club, which in addition to the blog and Fantasy F1, has embarked on this new and exciting adventure: XRace Motorsport. The passion for motors is overflowing and does not take into account age, nationality or gender. Especially in the last period, which sees Formula 1 experiencing a flourishing moment in terms of popularity, with the new generations that are increasingly attracted and enchanted by the exploits of the drivers. A sensational world, that of motors, which however too often remains a show to be experienced at home, behind a screen and on your own sofa. In fact, the exorbitant costs make motorsport not very accessible in practice, relegating it to being a privilege for the few. An idea was therefore needed that thought outside the box in order to break down the barriers that separate enthusiasts from the track.
Here, XRace was born precisely to overturn this situation, offering the opportunity to move from the armchair at home to the seat of a kart, whether for rental or competition. A unique experience, aimed especially at those who have never had the chance to race on a real track. The opportunities to experience these exciting emotions are already upon us: the 12 October you will run to Milan, at the international circuit 7 Kart Lakes. But XRace, unlike what too often happens in the motorsport we know, does not stop only in the north. Always on October 12th we find the Kart Prix of Rome, between the curves of the The Scaglia Circuit 2.0 of Civitavecchia. The next 19 October, instead, we will run to Napoli, in the setting of the Castelvolturno Kart Track Italy Track.
What does XRace offer? Kart prix, Endurance and Track Day
The October Kart Prix dates could be an excellent opportunity to satisfy your competitive hunger. Especially given the void currently left by Formula 1, on hiatus until October 20th. Those who decide to try their hand at this new motorsport adventure will have access to XRace Paddock, then take to the track first for the qualifications, which will precede the semifinals and final. Lots of time to spend on board a kart, with the opportunity to both practice and become part of a Community already very extensive and close-knit. Furthermore, the first three classified will be awarded XRace branded trophies and other great prizes, like the opportunity to access a free driving shift aboard a Legend Car.
But speaking of Legend. XRace has arranged for the next 9th November un track day at The Sagittarius Latina International Circuit. Participants will be able to take to the track driving a Legend Car for one or two 15-minute sessions, they will receive a theoretical lesson and participate in a technical briefing and, finally, they will be provided with technical and consumable material. All this to spice up an unforgettable experience, aboard a one of the most popular single-seaters among the amateur championships held in Italy e around the world. In addition to the Legend Cars, during the track day of the 20 October, At the Artena track, aspiring drivers will have a 125 kart at their disposal.
Finally, another format signed by XRace are the Endurance races, much appreciated by enthusiasts. In less than two days, the 6 October, will be staged there 4 Hours of Puglia, on the track Go-Kart Ginosa Marina, in the province of Taranto. A more complex event than the classic race. Participants will first compete in a qualification and then in a fascinating endurance race, which will begin with a start Le Mans style. But Yaw Club e XRace look beyond the Italian borders. In fact, the 2th November will be staged on the very interesting layout of the Buckmore Park Kart Circuit the Endurance race in London. The XRace races will thus also arrive in Great Britain, a land with a historic and strong motorsport tradition.
Lorenzo Ranucci: “XRace values are accessibility and meritocracy”
The birth lottery is a crucial and highly discriminatory factor for most people who would like to approach the world of motors. There is great disappointment in coming up against the inaccessibility of this sport which, as mentioned, requires a lot of economic resources. Not only that, this mechanism often leads to an advantage for pilots with little talent but coming from wealthy families, while, at the same time, many other young people who are interested and with significant talent find themselves letting their dreams die in the drawer. This happens both because of the lack of the famous "generous sponsors” and because it is difficult to enter into the complex dynamics that characterize motorsport.
But from disappointments we must draw the energy to reinvent ourselves and overcome the now well-known obstacles. This is why XRace exists, as he well explained Lorenzo Ranucci, of which he is CEO and Co-founder, reiterating what this ambitious project consists of. “XRace manages a community of enthusiasts of motorsport at national level. Organizes events on about 10 Italian circuits using both karts and cars, offering anyone the opportunity to register through the platform xracemotorsport.com.” The main theme is to network between people with the same passion, trying, together, to reach ever more distant horizons. “The short term goal is to create a hybrid environment between digital and track where to involve all the motoring enthusiasts who wish to test themselves on a racing vehicle".
But XRace’s plans for the near future are even more ambitious. “The long-term mission is to create an official XRace Racing team, which can compete in various categories, from Karting to motor racing, and represents the values and community of XRace through competition”. Not just tires and asphalt. Behind the XRace project there is a significant social vision, which hopes to guarantee everyone the opportunity to get involved in what they love: racing. A significant intention that is already represented by the X in the name of the project, as illustrated by Ranucci himself. “X is a common variable and, with XRace, we mean that Anyone can run. This is why the main values of XRace are accessibility and meritocracy".
