Pools Wolff talk again of the investigation, first open and then closed, from FIA about a possible conflict of interest involving him and his wife Susie, as well as CEO of the F1 Academy.
A rather particular story: the FIA, in fact, had initially opened it an investigation into the Wolffs, accused of conflict of interest. Following the position taken by the Formula 1 teams - all unanimously on Susie Wolff's side - the Federation, approximately 48 hours after the release of the press release relating to the opening of the investigation, decided to close the case, openly declaring that he was not there “no conflict of interest".
Wolff: “With the investigation the FIA attacked my family”
In an exclusive interview with BILD, Toto Wolff returned to speak on the issue that characterized the first month without Formula 1: “The investigation that was born and developed by the FIA is an absolutely absurd accusation. It was a personal attack, to be honest. I strongly believe the limit has been crossed. After about ten years in the role of manager of a stable I have developed a very tough skin. Honestly, I'm hardly surprised now, but I honestly think this investigation is really true shocking".

The situation in which the Mercedes team principal found himself was completely new, as for the first time, in addition to talking about Toto, his wife's trust was also at stake: "Finding myself in a situation like this, however, isn't really a big problem for me: I have broad shoulders and I can handle everything without major problems. But when – Wolff continued in the Bild interview – attack my family, then the question is totally different".
