The first points in F1 achieved last year did not erase the many mistakes that led to the Haas to prefer pilots with more experience. After leaving Haas and the Ferrari ecosystem, he turned to a team very dear to his family, the Mercedes and to Toto Wolff who praised his work as third driver, especially for his contribution to the simulator. But Mick's hope is that Toto can also act as guarantor if a team shows interest in the German. An opportunity that has been discussed for several weeks is that of seeing Schumacher in place of Logan Sargeant, a rookie with the Williams team. Schumacher ready to replace Sargeant

Logan Sargeant's season hasn't been particularly exciting. He and Nyck De Vries, another rookie for the 2023 season, are the only two riders who have not yet scored a point.
