The year isn't over yet, but the teams are already starting to think about the next one. After Ferrari, Sauber e Williams have announced that they will present their 2024 car the February 5. The same date has therefore been chosen for two teams which, considering next season, will have slightly different starting bases.

Williams, in fact, will want to start again from this last year. In fact, 2023 cannot but be considered positive for the Grove team which finished at seventh place in the constructors' standings. The one who shone, almost needless to say, was Alexander Albon, author of a season full of surprises and above all top tens, useful both for the Fanta managers at Fanta F1 and for his team. Slightly different story, however, for Sergeant. The American, in fact, only reached the points zone in one circumstance (in America following the disqualifications of Hamilton and Leclerc) the top ten, but Williams chose to trust him. Sargeant renewed his contract for another season and who knows if this year the experience (which he will now have) may have represented the obstacle that prevented Albon's teammate from shining.
At Sauber, however, the need will be to search to improve on ninth place in the constructors' championship. A result that undoubtedly disappointed expectations. In fact, only Haas did worse, finishing last. Bottas e Zhou they are looking for redemption and who knows, 2024 might be the right year to prepare for the arrival of Audi, which will take place in 2026. For the next two seasons, in fact, Sauber will not be linked to any further team. Following the separation with Alfa Romeo, we are still waiting to find out what the full name of Sauber will be which, through its social profiles, has already announced that will reveal his cards next January 1st.
