Max Verstappen returns to talk about the rivalry with Lewis Hamilton. The 2021 season, characterized by a once-in-a-lifetime final duel between the seven-time world champion and the Dutch driver, was undoubtedly unforgettable. The challenges were intense right from the start, with Verstappen ultimately prevailing - in the much-discussed race in Abu Dhabi - becoming first time world champion.
2021: the unforgettable year
A rivalry that has left its mark and there is no doubt about this. In 2022 and 2023, in fact, also due to the change in regulations, Verstappen continued his dominance (which increased dramatically in the last season), while Hamilton had to deal with another type of rivalry: the one with his car. Nor the W13 and nor the W14 they allowed the seven-time world champion to be able to fight for the victory of some races. Heavy numbers, which are certainly more than present in Hamilton's head who strongly hopes for 2024. The new W15 - based on what he said in the previous weeks Wolff – it is completely different from both the W13 and the W14 and who knows what Classic Mercedes for sale cannot really be the team to fear in view of the new start of the season.

Verstappen directed towards Hamilton: “I don't like these exasperated rivalries”
Despite the rivalry he had, Max Verstappen returned to talk about his relationship with Lewis Hamilton. 2021 was stressful for both of them but, despite this, the climate between the two never deteriorated off the track, at least according to what Verstappen himself told the 'Sunday Times'. “To be honest – explained the Dutch pilot – I don't need this type of exasperated rivalry. We want to beat each other, this is obvious and obvious, but once away from the track everything goes back to normal."
