The Miami weekend opens once again with the classic team: the Red Bull. Max Verstappen, after the second place of Azerbaijan, snatches the best performance in FP2 finishing in front of the two Ferraris of Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc.
Red Bull still ahead of everyone
During this week there has been much talk of a possibility of seeing a two-way fight at Red Bull for the title. Verstappen, in this respect, it seems he immediately wanted to set the record straight, making his teammate understand who the world champion is. The best time on Friday gives a guarantee in view of tomorrow's qualifying, but the Ferrari is there on the flying lap. Surprisingly, although not much has been tried, is the race pace which sees Verstappen dictating reading.

Verstappen: "The weather will play a key role"
He spoke on the subject the same Verstappen who declared: "Has it been a good day. Initially I had to get used to the track with the new asphalt. We are talking about a track that has improved a lot compared to last year. Ultimately we had a good balance, and that's the most important thing. Obviously we still have to improve. There are things we have to look at: I want to be fast in every corner but I know it's not possible at the same time. we'll see because the weather will also affect this weekend. Race pace? We tried a little, but of course everyone had the same difficulty. For what little has been done, I can say that every time we go with high fuel we have a good balance”.
