A strange race, no doubt, but also a lot of fun. In the, ultimately Sprint, of the Grand Prix of Japan è Max Verstappen to win and graduate World Champion! Behind him Sergio Perez and the Ferrari by Leclerc, penalized in the final of 5 seconds. A crazy race, as well as the top ten we vote for this week.
Verstappen flies into history
Max Verstappen
There is very little to say. A majestic race from the Dutchman. Dominated victory, as well as the second part of the season and second title brought home. Vote 10.
Sergio Perez
Good race by the Mexican who, after overtaking Sainz at the start, gives Leclerc a hard time throughout the race. He didn't finish second through overtaking, but he still had a good GP. Grade 9.
Charles Leclerc
Too bad for that little mistake in the ending. To understand why Ferrari has shown enormous difficulty with degradation. At the end of the race, the Monegasque's intermediate tires were real slicks. He still gets on the podium following the penalty. Grade 7.
Off the podium
Esteban Ocon
Amazing garona. After an excellent qualifying, he gains a position in the race in which he pulls his claws out and in which he manages to defend himself brilliantly from Lewis Hamilton. Grade 9.
Lewis Hamilton
His race without infamy and without praise. He tries desperately to overtake Ocon, without ever risking the play. Grade 6.
Sebastian Vettel
Incredible result for Sebastian who mounts the intermediates first together with Latifi. A choice that proves to be the right one to get back into the points after the accident that took place at the first start with Alonso. Seeing Sebastian finish in the points at Suzuka is priceless. Vote 10.
Fernando Alonso
The Spaniard continues his very positive performance of the weekend. He finishes on the point following a race without great emotions. Good comeback in the final that places him in seventh place. Grade 7.
George Russell
Its not a special race. In action in various circumstances to try to get into the points: the overtaking on Tsunoda was nice, but otherwise we note that the W13 ran into difficulties. Grade 5.
Nicholas latifi
The same argument as Vettel must be made with him too. He mounts the intermediates immediately and, with the Williams, manages to earn his first points of the season. Rating 9.5.
Lando Norris
Anomalous race this time for the McLarens. Norris doesn't do anything extremely particular but, to stay close to the fourth place now in the Alpine, he must always be in the points. Grade 5.
