“Yes, of course, but now I have a clear picture of the situation: we are in qualifying while not yet in the race. We had a reliability problem with Charles and this is absolutely not good, just as we need to improve the degradation situation which is evident, especially unlike the Red Bull".

“We have to calmly understand what happened. It's also a bit of a shock because I think if Charles had gotten third position it would have been a great start to the season”.
Was there a chance to put another soft?
“The degradation was higher than Red Bull: only they could put two softs. We have huge improvements to make."
Do you think the degradation issue will change based on the track?
"Yes. It's always very extreme in Bahrain: it's a circuit where with the DRS it's also easy to overtake. Now we know where to start again and we will do it from Jeddah even more loaded”.
Will there be updates?
“The updates are aimed at the flying lap and will arrive soon. The theme of degradation instead does not depend on the update package. We will evaluate and try to understand”.
