A truly bitter result. There Classic Ferrari for sale leaves the US GP defeated, with Carlos finishing fourth Sainz and from the sixth of Leclerc. Race to be forgotten by the poleman, with the strategy of opting for a stop which did not prove to be the best. To comment on US GP carried out by Ferrari is team principal Frederic Vasseur, spoke exclusively to Sky Sport F1.

Fred, do you have any regrets?
"Certain. When you start on pole you can't be happy with a fourth and sixth place, but we expected it. On Carlos' side everything went quite well, on the side As for Charles, however, we didn't make the right choice and we compromised his race with strategy".
Was the strategy chosen with him?
"Yes, certainly. We didn't make a sudden decision, but a reasoned one. Unfortunately, we didn't have the best numbers from the wall: we need to improve on forecasts. I think that ultimately the single stop was done quite well, but it turned out not to be the right one. We should have had a clearer plan."
Can you explain the first part of the race to us?
“We had to have a clear strategy: we were a little undecided and made the wrong decision. It's always easy to strategize after the race. Charles thought he was having a good race and so he did: the strategy wasn't good, but the tire management, however, was very good."
