“The first morning of the first tests I think it was already quite evident". With this analysis Frederic Vasseur summarized Ferrari's 2023 season, explaining the moment in which Maranello had already understood that it would not be an easy year.
The commentary on a difficult season
"You always have high hopes, you develop the car and obviously you always try to push. You hope – continued Vasseur – to be able to take pole position, to win one or two races”. A third place, the one achieved by Ferrari, which certainly, however cannot be considered a convincing result, as told by Vasseur himself: “If you think that in the end Verstappen won all the races of the season except three, of which only one was not Red Bull, it means that in the analysis it must be said that It's been a difficult 2023 season for Ferrari".

Vasseur: “The analysis of Ferrari's 2023 season is disappointing”
With the 2023 season now over, at Ferrari the mind is already on 2024. Work on project 676 – with the first 'real' red registered Vasseur which could be presented on 13 February – are the order of the day in Maranello. The goal will be to try to get as close as possible to Red Bull, true dominator of this vintage: “The most important thing in our work is to have the clearest possible image of the situation, about what we do and how we can improve in relation to the results we expected".
Sainz, Leclerc: the numbers of the season at Fanta F1
At the end of the 2023 season, it is also time for analysis Fantasy F1. At Ferrari, Leclerc e Sainz they didn't quite live up to their expectations. Both drivers of the red, in fact, I'm out of the top 5 of the best fantasy scoring average of the season. The Monegasque, at the end of a year consisting of 6 podiums and 4 retirements, boasts a fantastic average of 10.98. Slightly higher numbers than teammate Sainz who, with 1 win, 2 podiums and 3 retirements, closes its season with a fantasy of 10.52.
