Still at the champion's house. There are still many countries asking to host the Formula 1 in the coming years, but for now the Circus prefers to dwell on the permanence of other stages on the calendar.
Dutch GP until 2025, it's official
This is the case of Holland. In fact, the official announcement has just arrived that Formula 1 has extended its contract with the Zandvoort Grand Prix until 2025. Another certainty therefore, after strong doubts who had initially remained on each other. Champion Max Verstappen's home grand prix will continue to feature in the busy Formula 1 calendar, stopped for now at 23 races(after the cancellation of the Chinese GP). This year in the GP held at the beginning of September, a win it was Verstappen in front of the two Ferrari by Leclerc and Carlos Sainz.
Domenicali: “We can't wait to go back this summer”
To celebrate this renewal, the words of the CEO of Formula 1 Stefano Domenicali were not lacking.
“The Dutch Grand Prix has quickly established itself on the calendar as a fan favourite, creating incredible energy and a great fan experience each year. The sold-out events of the last two years have raised the bar in terms of organization, entertainment and sustainability, and we are delighted to extend our relationship with them. There is huge demand to host F1 races, so it is a testament to what their team has done to consolidate Zandvoort on the calendar through 2025. We can't wait to return next summer."
