The announcement, considering the break, was imminent and it finally came. Formula One has in fact made official the calendar for next season.
Formula One, between returns and confirmations
There will be 24 races for a very rich and thick calendar, with new entries and welcome returns. Due to the early closure of the world championship, Formula One will stop a little less and will start on March 5 with the now customary opening GP in Bahrain. Soon after, like this year, it will be Saudi Arabia's turn. The big news on the calendar is the fourth stage. In fact, immediately after Melbourne, scheduled as the third stage in April, Formula One officially gives welcome back to China. It will take place in Shanghai on April 16, to then close the month with the Baku Grand Prix in Azerbaijan.
Imola is there, but not in April
The novelty of the new calendar also concerns the various timings. Very confirmed in the month of May Miami which this year will anticipate the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. In fact, Formula One, as agreed under the contract, confirms the GP at Imola which will however take place on May 21st and will be followed, the following weekend, by the weekend in Montecarlo. The Monaco GP then, afterwards months of negotiation, is reconfirmed on the calendar for next season as well.
Spa moved to July
Another novelty, at an organizational level, concerns the Belgium. With the farewell of Paul Ricard, the Spa Francorchamps circuit will take place in July, precisely on the 30thbefore the summer break. When we return from vacation we will fly to Max's house Verstappen, with the Dutch GP, followed as always by the our home weekend in Monza, scheduled for next September 3rd.
This is Vegas!
Confirmed the return of Qatar which, after the absence this season due to the World Cup, will take place on 8 October, in the middle of Japan and the USA. Speaking of America, the novelty cannot be missing Las Vegas which will be the penultimate round of the season, scheduled for November 18th. The world championship will end on November 26 with Abu Dhabi.
