After months of waiting, the air of Formula 1 is starting to breathe again. All the teams have already presented their single-seaters, or at least their liveries. To see them on the track, and above all to understand how much the cars observed in the presentations correspond to the real ones, we will have to wait a few more days. The first opportunity to see the single-seaters take to the track and understand how they will behave is that of the pre-season tests in Bahrain from 23 to 25 February. Here are the times when the tests will be carried out.
A dense schedule
In 2022 thanks to the unknowns brought about by the new regulation, the tests took place in two 3-day sessions, and on different tracks, Bahrain and Barcelona. Between one session and another we saw several novelties, different versions of the single-seaters which showed considerable problems on their first approach to the track. The correlation between the data in the simulator and those on the track was not at all satisfactory in some cases, and teams like Mercedes had to get their hands on the single-seater immediately and several times. Only at the end of the championship did the project start working. The team's only victory also came in Brazil, with George Russell hoping to experience a different 2023, right from the start. This year, being the second year with regulatory continuity, solo Classic Mercedes for sale e Classic Ferrari for sale they wanted to continue on their aerodynamic philosophy, preferring not to approach Red Bull (as did all the other stables instead). Will this be their winning key?
