The wait is almost over. There are only a few days left to be able to relive the emotions of the F1: we start, as per tradition now, with the tests which will take place, also for the 2024 season, from 21 al February 23 in Bahrain.
F1, Bahrain 2024 tests: what are they actually for?
As the word itself indicates, these 3 days will be used by the teams to to test the new cars. It's a job fundamental both for the teams and for the drivers, as we need to understand whether simulator data coincide with those of the padel. Furthermore, for the 20 drivers at the wheel, the tests are very important to immediately find the right one gut feeling. with his own single-seater. The machines, beyond major updates, will always the same, and it is therefore essential to know it as best as possible right away.
The day will be divided, with a first part in the morning and a second in the afternoon. This means that we will only see one car per team in action in each session, and the division of time will be at the discretion of the team.

Bahrain ready to host the new cars
Since the season 2021, the circuit designated for pre-season testing is the Sakhir International Circuit in Bahrain. Track which, 9 days later (it will be run on Saturday for the Ramadan), will also host the first grand prix of the season. Doing well in the 3 days of testing would mean being almost totally ready for the first race of the year. This is an extra incentive for the participants, who undoubtedly want to start the year in the best possible way.
Where can you see the tests?
F1 fans will undoubtedly be anxiously awaiting the start of the tests, with which the forces on the field could already be outlined. But where will it be possible to see them? In Italy, the service is entrusted to the networks of Sky Sports, precisely on the canal 207 (SkySportF1). The live broadcast will be from 08:00 12:00 with the morning session, and from 13:00 17:00 with the afternoon session.
