We are getting closer and closer to the new 1 F2023 season and what gets the fans adrenaline going is the reveal of the new liveries. After Alpha Tauri, Aston Martin, McLaren, Ferrari e Alpine also for Williams the time has come to communicate the date on which the veils will be removed from the 2023 single-seater.
Williams FW45: 06/02/23 15pm
Williams will present the new single-seater on February 6 at 15:00 Italian time. The British team has been looking for, as for so many years now, a ransom given the disappointing results of these vintages and also given the history of this company. This will not be possible if the first not to give their best will be the riders, with Alexander albon, confirmed after a good season perhaps a little fluctuating (remember i 57 laps on Hard in Australia to then pit only on the last lap), who will be joined by one of next season's three rookies, namely Logan sargeant, fresh from the Superlicense obtained after the fourth in F2. It will be important for him to have a talented figure like Alex who can encourage him to give his best.
Waiting for direction
However, the hottest topic in the Williams house is certainly the question executive: in fact, at the moment, the British team finds itself without a main team and without the technical director because of the resignation di Jost capito e Xavier Demaison, therefore without a precise guide. To aggravate the situation, some sponsors no longer trust this project, consequently deciding to abandon it; the peculiarity of this fact is that all three brands are related to Dorilton Capital as well as the principal shareholder of Williams. In fact, always given the poor results of the car in recent years, the latter seems to be trying to "change the air", which would put the team in serious trouble.
Among the candidates is Jenson Button, a former driver now joined the team as a senior consultant, and ambassador. In his role with the team, Button works with drivers, as well as drivers from the Williams Racing Academy. He is also responsible of JBXE, the all-electric SUV off-road racing series Extreme E for the 2021 season. Button himself has not ruled out a future as Team Principal, and on social media he does not hide his enthusiasm in waiting for the unveiling of the 2023 single-seater.
