FIA investigation into Toto and Susie Wolff, the reconstruction
Let's go in order. On Tuesday evening, therefore, the FIA announced the opening of the investigation into a possible conflict of interest between Susie and Toto Wolff. On the following day, however, FOM and above all the ten teams of Formula 1 unanimously sided in favor of the CEO of the F1 Academy, specifying in particular their great relationship with the category managed by Susie Wolff. Twenty-four hours from the publication of the teams' official press release, which the FIA takes its step back. The case, therefore, can be considered already concluded.
Susie raises her voice against the FIA: “They failed the attack”
A choice, after all there is no point in hiding it, which undoubtedly surprised, especially with regards to the timing. Although all this could give an idea of a chapter officially closed, it will not be so. In fact, Toto Wolff has already announced that Mercedes is ready to appeal to legal action, while Susie - through a statement on her social profiles - expressed her great dissent towards the investigation opened by the FIA.
"When I read the statement that the FIA released yesterday evening, my first reaction was: 'Is that all there is?'. For about two days insinuations about my integrity were made in public, without anyone from the FIA ever speaking directly to me. I could represent a failed attack on someone else, o the target of an attempt that it still failed and that it was intended to discredit me, but I worked too hard to ensure that my reputation was not undermined by an unfounded press release".

“We deserve better”
"In the world of motorsport we have still a long way, or rather too much, way from and I am extremely grateful to all the Formula 1 teams for the support they gave me. I have worked with many women and men who are passionate about the FIA and with whom I have had an excellent reputation as having the interests of our sport at heart. This episode, however, it took place without transparency or accountability. I have received online abuse about my work and my family, but I will not be intimidated and will continue until I find out who instigated this campaign and misled the media. What happened is not enough. As a sport, we must demand, and we deserve better".
