A Silverstone the first championship points have arrived for Mick Schumacher. An important milestone that broke the spell and gave Mick the energy to face the next races perhaps with a little more self confidence same.
The bad results obtained at the beginning of the season combined with the constant pressure of never having made the top 10 a year and a half after his entry into Formula 1, had infuriated the fans and Gunther steiner he had asked the German greater concreteness. A concreteness that this weekend laid the first bricks on a foundation that Mick still lacked, a foundation that gives him security and motivates him to grow. Fight Schumacher – Verstappen in the Silverstone finale – and no, we're not talking about their fathers – he literally drove the audience crazy. A nice ending that makes us want to read the next page that will be written in Austria.
From double bad qualifying to double points
The weekend of Silverstone it didn't start off well. With the pressure mounting after the poor results of the last few Grands Prix and the still burning disappointments of Monaco, Miami, Jeddah another disastrous weekend lay ahead. In qualification both Haas they finished in the lower classification, 18th and 19th, with Kevin ahead of Mick. The initial chaos, combined with the good strategy of the team and the leadership of the riders allowed both to move up the positions, making the most of all the opportunities offered by a crazy race like Silverstone.

Results lead to satisfaction
Since his arrival in the racing world, Mick Schumacher has paid both positively and negatively for the weight of his surname. However, the results in the top category reduced Mick's value slowly untying him from his roots. As the days go by the rumors about its possible goodbye to the top category, after only two years, they have spread with impressive speed.
The first points obtained at Silverstone definitely eased the tension, also due to the fact that they didn't arrive only due to the "demerit" of the others. At Silverstone we saw a different, mature Mick. He did everything he had to do to take Haas as far forward as possible. Not an easy thing to do considering that the car is what it is at the moment. Waiting for the only ones updates important, that should arrive in HungaryBefore the summer break, Mick took what Silverstone gave him as proof that confidence and determination are more inspiring than criticism.
Something that, strangely, also Bernie Ecclestone thinks, the former owner of F1 usually the protagonist of questionable statements. “If Michael were here, he would tell Guenther which direction to go and that would be a huge help. Mick has the skills for this he needs someone to help him instead of criticizing him at every opportunity.”
Mick optimistic for Austria
The proximity of the Silverstone Grand Prix to that ofAustria plays in favor of Mick and Hass who wants to ride this wave of optimism and not dampen the enthusiasm of last weekend. With the mood still high and a track that the German driver likes so much – even more so if in the rain – we can and want to expect confirmation, starting already from qualifying and from sprint race that will require a double effort.
