Last year, at the beginning of the season, the premise of Ferrari was only one: back to the top after two dark years. And on a first date, in bahrain, the red it shines again, giving all the fans the false hope of the world title.
A lot of concentration for an ever more performing car
After the Asian round, the single-seater from Maranello was the best performance-wise, but in the races to come he highlighted a few weaknesses: the clearest and most obvious was certainly reliability. The engineers, in 2020 and 2021, had had the arduous and delicate task of having to fix the Power Unit had to depower later the secret pacts with the FIA of 2019. Partly they did it and, with engine development frozen until 2026, having such a high-performing engine in terms of power is good for Ferrari. In aid to the Italian team there is the same regulation that allows the teams to be able to put their hands on the engine to improve reliability. Obviously not infinite times, but just enough to be able to make the fight as balanced as possible.

Steiner's words that gas Ferrari
The job seems to have been done well given that, in a recent interview, Gunther Steiner, team principal of Haas, said that "the Ferrari 2023 engine will be a bomb”. If the work done by the mechanics in Emilia Romagna has been really important, we could expect a real one bomb: in fact, as stated by the now resigned Mattia binotto, in the second half of the season Charles Leclerc e Carlos Sainz they had to use a PU mapping reduced to counter withdrawals due to reliability. If the latter were to be improved from last year, we could see the two drivers dressed in red and those who have Ferrari as their supplier take advantage of an engine that will allow them to aspire to something bigger.
