An Sprint Race di Formula 2 the one just concluded at the dry one Red Bull Ring.uncertainty initial on weather it led the teams to make different choices, between those who mounted rain tires because they expected rain and wet asphalt and those who instead opted for slicks. Jack Crawford he managed to conquer his first victory in the category thanks to the slicks fitted. Also on the podium with him Martins e Novalak.
Hi Dilano
Before the start of the race a minute of silence in memory of Dilano Van 't Hoff, pilot of the MP Motorsports, who passed away today in Spa-Francorchamps following an accident in race 2 of FRESH. The Dutch team which also competes in Formula 2 and Formula 3 hugged each other on the starting grid to remember the 18-year-old.

Crawford dominates in Austria
Unlike the Formula 3 Sprint Race which took place this morning, in which the only possible choice of tires were rain, in Formula 2 the grid has split. In fact, many teams found it necessary to fit wet tires on their cars because the asphalt was not completely dry and rain was forecast during the race. Others however, like Crawford e Correa, they preferred the slicks, choice which ultimately proved to be the case right.
When the traffic lights go out Crawford starts well, but those who have the rain they seem to have greater grip -at least in this first round-, so much so Arthur Leclerc manages to take it leadership of the race. On the fourth lap verschoor ends in the meadow and the Safety Car takes to the track. Those who have rain tires rush to the pits to mount slicks Crawford takes the lead again to the group.
At the restart when the Safety Car returned, the driver of the Hitech manages to extend the gap from Correa, currently second. The American succeeds has a constant gap of 2.2 s from the rest of the group, which allows him to go on to win undisturbed. The rookie Jak Crawford wins his first Formula 2 race in Spielberg.

Fantastic race by Novalak
Il Red Bull Ring managed to mix the cards in the game, making drivers like Correa, Novalak o Stan, often outside the top 10, found themselves at fight for the podium. Fantastic job for Novalak which it seems to have found the step with her Trident, climbing 17 positions. The Frenchman has tried his hand at several spectacular overtaking, including the one on Hadjar and Juan Manuel Correa, which allowed him to finish the race in third position.

Excellent race also for Victor martins, which after yesterday's pole in the qualifications, proved to be one of the fastest of the weekend. The same cannot be said for his teammate, Theo Pourchaire, who slipped to the rear after the pit stop, was unable to get back into the points and he even takes penalties for impeding.
The winner of the Sprint Race of Barcelona, Frederick Vesti fails to come back in the points area. He could have taken advantage of the lack of Pourchaire ed Iwasa in the top 10, to gain an extension in the championship standings.
Tomorrow at 09:55 am Feature Races, will Martins be able to take home the victory?
