By regulation this year, as repeated several times, each team must run an unofficial driver in at least two free practice sessions throughout the season. Shwartzman, in fact, will run under Israeli flag he being born in Tel Aviv and having lived there until he had 3 years. Also the father's family is all Israeli and, therefore, has all the requirements to be able to compete for this nation.
