One month before the pre-season tests in Bahrain, and after a series of events that have shaken the organization chart of several teams the figure has also been identified in Hinwil to represent the team. The Sauber group, led by the new CEO, Andreas Seidl, in his first official move, has opted for an experienced figure. An internal figure as he is already Managing Director of the group, which he has been following closely since 2017. The identified person will also inherit the role previously held by Frederic Vasseur.
Seidl chooses Alessandro Alunni Bravi
The Sauber group communicated the choice this morning. Alessandro Good students, an Italian manager well placed in the motorsport field, from 2023 as stated in the Sauber press release, will carry out new duties, in addition to those imposed by the role he already holds as Chief Executive Officer. Alunni Bravi, manager also of Stoffel Vandoorne and Gimmi Bruni, since 2023 will need to collaborate with the technical and operations departments to continue the growth and success of the team. It will too representing the team at all official functions on race weekends and off the track. Duties previously performed by Vasseur.
The Sauber group is in a growth phase, whose first step was represented by the partnership with Audi from 2026. There is great interest and above all curiosity on the future – longer term – of the team and of this new formation at the top.
