Good first… day. On Friday's free practice, Ferrari is there, in the area that bodes well for the fans. In that area that tomorrow could confirm its first and second row. In fact, Charles Leclerc and Carlo Sainz closed the second free practice session in second place, with the Monegasque, and in third position, with the Spaniard. Excellent placement for Sainz which confirms the good feeling he had already developed on the F1-75 during the tests. But now, head down and studying in view of tomorrow's qualifying, as Carlos Sainz admitted at the end of FP2 to Sky:
"The first free practice session was good because I felt comfortable and things seemed to be going even better than at the test. – declared the Spaniard – Unfortunately in the second hour those good sensations faded a bit: we struggled with the set-up and it was difficult to put together a good lap. We will certainly need to analyze the data well tonight, but I'm confident that we can get back to having the good feeling of the early afternoon and that we will be ready for qualifying." .
A car that exists and therefore responds presently: “In FP2 I didn't have much feeling but I was still third Sainz added. so there is potential and we are doing a good job. With the front tires I was missing that half second you saw, but it can be found”.
