Carlos Sainz, interviewed on the occasion of Brazilian GP, he says but does not say who he will play golf with for the Netflix Cup in Las Vegas, but above all he has his say on Ferrari's 2023 season. In Mexico the team achieved a podium with Leclerc and a fourth place with Sainz who hopes to be back on the podium before the end of this season.

Not just Formula 1. Among the various racing-related events, Netflix has organized an event to be held in Las Vegas. Event on which Carlos Sainz is invited to express his opinion, before commenting on the season here, in Brazil. Carlos, thanks for waiting. Let's talk a little about golf before we get into it. How are you preparing for the Netflix cup in Las Vegas?
“Well, I'm preparing well. I'm playing as much as I can, but not as much as I'd like because we're all busy with Formula 1, obviously. But I hope to be able to play a bit next week, then I'll go on holiday for a week, before Las Vegas, in the United States. And by the time I get to Las Vegas, I hope to be nice and warm for the games.
Who will be your teammate? Can you give us some details?
I was told, though… I guess I can't tell you. I don't want to reveal something that Netflix doesn't want to reveal. It's not Lewis and it's not Charles, I can tell you that.
Will it be Logan?
Ninth. I'm going to play with a professional golfer, but I don't want to mess up. I think it's Netflix that wants to make the announcement... Although, maybe, maybe I can do it?

Please have the say, if you want... But let's go back first to the constructors' battle between Ferrari and Mercedes: Lewis has had his say, how do you see it?
“I think Mercedes has a small advantage because they are ahead in the championship and 22 points [the 22 points gap from Ferrari, Ed.] is not a small thing. And then, considering that the points are awarded on Sunday and Mercedes is stronger, while we are weaker in the race, the advantage is certainly a bit in their hands. But we are managing to apply pressure and they cannot afford any mistakes, so we are there, ready to take advantage of them. It's a fun battle, as Lewis said, and we're always close in the race. Normally they are the ones who chase us and then overtake us in the race, we hope to be able to subvert this aspect in the race. Or at least not to let ourselves be overtaken, to be able to finish in front, because that's where the points are won.
And we also continue Charles' discussion on the car's race pace: how are Sunday's performances going?
“Well it seems a bit like our weak point and it has been like this throughout the season: we always tend to go better in qualifying than in the race. And then there is also a certain inconsistency of the stints: we did some very good stints in the race, while in other stints we lost a lot depending on the compounds, the track conditions and how we treat the tyres. So we have a little less consistency on that front, so we are working hard in these last few races to try to improve that aspect. And also in excellent shape next year, to try to reduce this gap we have or cancel it.
