After the two week break, Formula One will be back on track with the Singapore Grand Prix. It will be a stage, that of 2 October, very important to understand what kind of season finale awaits us, especially considering 2023.
To Singapore
Singapore, based on the characteristics of the circuit, it represents an excellent track for Ferrari. The Maranello stable is back from one good race in Monza, with the second place of Leclerc and the fourth of Carlos Sainz, following a great comeback. Jobs, performed above all on the engine, of the F1-75 of the Spaniard seem to have worked. In Singapore, however, the engine power will not be so effective, and this aspect certainly makes Maranello smile. Victory is therefore not so impossible for Ferrari, but it is clear that nothing will have to be wrong considering the great strength of the Red Bull by Verstappen. The Dutchman wants to continue write the story: with a success in two weeks, he would conquer the fifth consecutive victory.
Sainz: "It will be the most difficult race of the year"
There is, however, another theme which worries in the Ferrari house, precisely to Carlos Sainz. In fact, in Singapore, the possible is not excluded return of the pouring, great enemy of the riders in the first part of the season, before the arrival of the technical directive. On the subject, Sainz spoke like this.
“It will be a tough race, both mentally and physically. With all the bumps, heat and jumping around. I think it will be the toughest race of the year. It will be a huge challenge to put together a lap in qualifying and be consistent in the race with the amount of bouncing in the cars".
