At the checkered flag of Austrian GP, finishes in fourth position Carlos Sainz. Match in P3, the Spaniard was not very lucky during his race. Indeed he was penalized 5 seconds for Track Limits, a bit like most other drivers.
Sainz not happy: "Today I had more"
Many errors on a personal level for #55 of red. After receiving three warnings for exceeding track limits, Carlos went out again and received the 5 seconds. However, this theme takes second place when compared to his general performance. After serving the penalty, the Spaniard made some overtaking moves masterful moving back to third. Position held until the arrival of Red Bull Sergio Perez. But even there, Sainz defended himself tooth and nail, even playing the same game as Leclerc with Verstappen at Jeddah since 2022.

What Sainz is unhappy about, however, concerns another aspect. In the first laps of the race, when he was behind Leclerc, the 27-year-old showed much more pace. The team, for their part, decided to Don't let your pilots fight. In the post-race interview with the microphones of Sky, Sainz pointed out his disappointment: "I'm not very happy. I had the pace to do more than a fourth place. I was driving well. We will have to analyze what could have been done differently. I'm left with a feeling of great bitterness.".
We could talk about alarm bell at Ferrari, but these words probably contain the adrenaline, still very high, of a driver who knows he can achieve increasingly encouraging results.
