It was a very difficult weekend for her Ferrari. The updates they didn't allow the red to realize the good things done in the race, at least by Carlos Sainz, in Saturday qualifying. In Spain a win it is once again Verstappen finishing ahead of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell.
Ferrari, how many difficulties on Sunday
Sainz, who started second, did not go further the fifth position. A result that speaks clearly and fully gives the idea of Ferrari's difficulties. The SF-23 continues to be too incomprehensible a car in the race, in which degradation is one of the most present elements. In fact, the Spaniard, who started on the soft tyre, mounted the medium tire during the first stint. Choice that in the end proved to be disastrous, with Sainz who has never been able to make the compound work.

Sainz: "Barcelona difficult track"
Ferrari has therefore missed another opportunity in order to try to get back on track after a difficult start to the season, as Mercedes did instead. In Maranello there is still a lot to work on, as admitted by Sainz himself to the microphones of Sky Sport F1: “I tried all the tyres, but it's always a very difficult circuit for us, with a lot of degradation and a lot of fast corners, I suffered a lot from that. I think the new package is doing what we expected, but taking it to a circuit that is difficult for us maybe doesn't demonstrate the progress we are seeing."
