During the Austrian GP, on lap 57, Carlos Sainz he approached Max Verstappen in a frightening way. But, while he was less than a second behind the Dutchman and about to overtake him, his Power Unit it betrayed him by burning and forcing him to training camp. There is so much in her face despair, because he too knew there was a chance to a brace which is missing from first race of the season. A fast too long for a car that seems to be more competitive of past years, leaving out all the problem reliability.

Penalty at Le Castellet?
The images of Sainz's car going up in flames are not not at all reassuring in house Ferrari: the engine will definitely come brought to Maranello and analyzed to understand the reason for the breakdown and how not to make it happen again, considering that they are still missing many races in Abu Dhabi. The Spanish, however, according to the tracking of the use of the Power Units, is to the maximum limit of PU used before the penalty and, with unit Noo 3 way, will have to or reassemble unit No 2 or, more accredited and much more probable hypothesis, unmark the PU No 4 for the next grand prix to be held in France in two weeks. The reasons that should bring the Ferrari to arrive at this choice are various, but the most important is definitely keep intact the rotation of the motors.

Sainz, now we have to start again
This is a very delicate subject for the red because of many reliability problems to which it has gone against this season and ruining the rotation of the engines would result too great a risk (the failure of the engine itself) to risk this move. At the moment though there is no official news and, to find out more, we will have to wait for the next few weeks. The only certainty is the desire to keep doing well by Carlos Sainz.
