A race that didn't get underway until the yellow tire was fitted, as if it were his red one came back to life with the medium set. Overtaking on the two Mercedes and identical wheelbase to that of the Aston Martin Lance stroll. In the last stint with the soft tyres, however, a problem looms climbing problem. Sainz in the post-Brazil match: “Here like Zandvoort. Red Bull and McLaren from another planet”
After getting out of the car and having done all the usual checks, the Madrilenian headed to the interview area. The main question concerns the final placement, i.e. whether yes could do more. Carlos promptly responded by pointing out how his position at the end of the GP reflects his true pace. Also, a problem with clutch during the departure may have taken away his chance to fight for the P5 with Stroll. "A race that ended where we deserved to – Sainz said – Aston was faster than us, on these tracks they recover their rhythm. Red Bull and McLaren are from another planet. We had problems at the start with the clutch, maybe we could have fought with Stroll and gained a position".

Moving forward, the Madrid native focused on the similarities between the tracks of Zandvoort ed Interlagos. Not much good had been done on Dutch soil, and this, according to him, could be a reason for the pace difference between him and the group in front: "We knew that with these types of corners like Zandvoort we struggle. We go fast in qualifying, but 71 laps on this track is a long time for us on a circuit like this.".
