With now two races at the end of the season, the attention of most of the teams and riders is on the 2023 world championship. In fact, for some time now, the various teams have started planning goals for next season which already seem to be very interesting.
Sainz: 'I want to become world champion'
Max Verstappen won for the second consecutive year the world titleand has no intention of stopping. This year's rivalry with the Ferrari it didn't last long, considering that since the second part of the season there has been no competition. Ferrari's goal, however, is very clear: tcome back to really fight for the title. It will not be easy to do this, but the Maranello team he believes it, as well as its pilot Sainz who in an exclusive interview with caranddriver.com stated.
"I want to become world champion. I aim to be in the game again next year. Fighting for leadership from the first GP of the season. Unlike this year, I don't intend to lose control of the situation, since I feel I can have my say. The personal goal and that of the team is precisely to aspire to the top positions in the standings and together we are working to return to having the competitiveness of the beginning of the championship. We are ready to improve and I am sure that if we do we will not miss another opportunity".

“We have to make life difficult for Max”
The Spaniard dreams of winning a title with the red, after a season in which something more was evidently expected.
“I'm sorry I didn't feel comfortable in the car at the beginning of the year, I would have liked to make life more difficult for Verstappen and fight more alongside Leclerc. The goal for 2023 is to start again from the current level, which I consider quite good, and complicate things for Max. This year I never thought he could win 14 GPs, because we had a great car, but the Red Bull he's had an incredible season."
