It wasn't an easy start for the team at Suzuka Ferrari. The red in fact, it ran into difficulties under the Japanese rain and failed to shine.
Not a great start
despite the FP1 they closed well enough, with second place for Sainz and third for Leclerc, the second session (in which there was clearly more activity on the track) showed some difficulties in the wet on the part of the F1-75. However, this Suzuka weekend will be an important one for the Reds. considering the fund-related update that saw Sainz finish sixth in the FP2.
Sainz: "We have some indications in the wet"
The Spaniard was compared to his teammate Leclerc, clearly more on the ball in the wet this Friday. However, attention has now shifted to tomorrow, the day of qualifying, when no rain is forecast. In this regard, Sainz wanted to comment on what was done on the track.
“It was a very wet Friday, and that usually means not running too much. However, today the track conditions remained quite stable and so I was able to try both the Intermediate and the Wet tyres. In doing so we were able to bring home more than one useful indication in the wet so I would define today's day as productive. But now it's time to start preparing for tomorrow's qualifying."
