La Ferrari shines in the Singapore night, even if we are on Friday. In the second session in fact Carlos Sainz snatches the first position in front of Charles Leclerc and George Russell. A one-two punch from the Reds which bodes well for tomorrow and Sunday's race.
The recovery in FP2
The day had not started in the best way for Carlos Sainz. In fact, the Ferrari driver had had some difficulties during the race first session, finished in sixth place. What was noticeable from the track was a very strong and fast F1-75 but also nervous. In fact, the corrections and even the long ones that saw the Spaniard as protagonist have not changed. However, the music changed during the Marina Bay evening with Sainz conquering the best performance.
Sainz: "I did the whole program"
Great joy for it Spaniard who wanted to comment on his result in this way.
“This first track day in Singapore was intense. We were able to complete the program but we also had to contend with several balancing and tuning issues. In the first session we weren't very happy but the sensations improved in the second hour of free practice. We have to work a lot and still look for performance, especially in race configuration. I think we expect a very close fight for the top positions and for this reason it will be important to take advantage of every aspect of the weekend.”
