Another week of waiting, then we'll know. This is what is said about the investigation opened at Red Bull against Christian Horner. The team principal of Milton Keynes stables, accused of inappropriate attitudes reported by one of its employees, was questioned on Friday 9 February by external lawyers hired by Red Bull. Ultimately, for these very reasons, a decisive answer has not yet been reached. Based on the latest, it seems that next week will be the decisive one in order to understand what developments the story will take.
Red Bull, the latest news on the investigation relating to Christian Horner
In the event of a possible farewell to Horner, who at the moment has absolutely not confirmed the accusations made against him, the first name to replace him would be that of the team's current sporting director Wheatley. Red Bull, therefore, should it opt for this choice, would rely on an internal figure. The Briton would have the task of managing the team ahead of the start of the season, scheduled for less than a month.

Waiting for the final decision
The situation is not easy, especially given the importance of the role Horner plays. Red Bull's desire is to understand as soon as possible the dynamics of the situation. Although there are still weeks left until the start of the 2024 Formula 1 season, the investigation into Horner would end (at least Red Bull hopes so) just a few days before the presentation of the new RB20. The count is scheduled the February 15. Immediately afterwards, moreover, it will be time to get on track with the tests in Bahrain and, thinking that they still have little certainty about the future of their team principal, is not what they hope to experience in Milton Keynes. A decision will be needed which, within the next week, is preparing to arrive. Horner waits, as well as Red Bull, to understand whether in the end it will be an "in" or an "out".
