La Red Bull, Thanks to a sumptuous strategy, she managed to win the Hungarian GP. Max Verstappen he managed to reach the first position by starting from the P10 exceeding well 2 times higher Charles Leclerc for the leadership of the Grand Prix, recovering the lead even after a mistake.
Hannah, the queen of strategies
Again, the trump card of Red Bull against the Ferrari was the strategy, all led by one person, praised at the press conference by Max than from the same Christian horner. She is Hannah Schmitz, head of strategy at Red Bull. His greatest insight was don't start with the hard ones as was planned before the race; in fact, looking at the Dutchman's laps, she realized that it took too long to warm up the rubber and starting with the Hard would have been a suicide for both pilots.
Making herself heard loudly, she managed to get the mechanics to mount red rubber, which could be heated faster. The strategy was totally spot on because the two Red Bulls were able to whip the yellow several times. This allowed Max to discard the white eraser from his race, but above all of be able to overtake at the first pit Hamilton and to the second Russell and Sainz, two uncomfortable customers to fight with as it is the Hungaroring straight very short.
Ferrari, watch and learn
The icing on SuperMax's race was la bad strategy of Ferrari which led Verstappen to overcome Leclerc once and then a spin fixed with a spectacular 360 oC, overtake him once more to go smoothly to win the GP. There is a lack of a figure who makes his voice heard and who plans strategies looking not one but three steps forward. The ability of the queen of strategies in Red Bull is above all to keep her nerve even in complicated situations. This allowed Red Bull to use its lethal weapon not only in Hungary but also in Monaco. In both situations Hannah's moves sent the Ferrari wall into a tailspin, hit and sunk.
Horner's words
Red Bull team principal Christian horner spent gratifying words towards Hannah, explaining that “under pressure she's fantastic” and that was it the factor who led the Milton Keynes stable to victory. It was certainly crucial too the work of mechanics and it was Horner himself who underlined it, adding: "Pit stops were dynamite and it's really a joy to see the team work. We wanted to redeem ourselves after a bad day on Saturday." Of the same opinion also Max Verstappen who commented the race as follows: "Hannah was inhumanly calm all Sunday."
