Fast it's your latest single. Do you want to tell us about it?
“Everything about this project, beyond nature, which wants to tell sport and speed, is fantastic. It was all a bit of a race against time but we succeeded, so I tell you: good like this!”
How did your passion for engines come about?
“From very small. I have photos from when I was 6-7 years old and I was in Monza to watch the races, not just Formula One. The passion then grew more and more thanks to video games. I admit that since Playstation 1 I was already playing and I did 70 laps each race without stopping".
Your first hit song was F1rst, which became the soundtrack of Sky for the Monza GP. What emotion did you feel?
“It was a huge emotion. You have to consider my path. I went from not getting any radio play, to having 2 million listeners for the song. Having F1rst as soundtrack for the whole weekend was truly incredible, as was the presentation by Carlo Vanzini and Federica Masolin. I must say that when you know the sacrifices behind it, you appreciate it even more ”.
What is the working difference between F1rst and Fast?
“In both there is a lot of work, even if they are born in different ways. F1rst develops in 2019, from my idea that undergoes a long transformation. There was the Covid lockdown and it wasn't easy for me. I've always had a big fear that someone might steal my idea, but luckily it turned out great. Fast, on the other hand, was born from my incredible desire to do something else with engines and not just limit myself to Formula One. Fast is a bit more generalist, while F1rst is a bit more specific”.
Coming to the new F1 season. Leclerc vs Verstappen, how do you see this battle?
“If you ask me for a prediction, you know I already did it at the end of the F1rst video. I played my cards there. Having said that, I'm happy with how this World Cup is developing. See the Ferrari there he allows Leclerc to show everyone what he is worth, without forgetting that he is experiencing an incredible challenge. He is faced with a super competitive Red Bull and a world champion. Sometimes, in some live shows, I take a gamble and say: it's almost a world championship that could be worth double, because if we think of certain titles won without great difficulty by some drivers, then it means that a success by Leclerc would mean a huge undertaking".
