Carlo Sainz concluded the FP1 in ninth position, just behind the Ferrari of Comrade Charles Leclerc. The comparative tests seem to have gone quite well, beyond the final positions. FP2 saw the Ferrari drivers finish in sixth and eighth position, climbing forward by two positions with respect to FP1. The top speed is also good of the red, on a par with that of the RB19. We were constantly adapting to setup changes by analyzing the differences between the parts during the two sessions. We also tried all three compounds, so overall it was a day of preparation for the rest of the weekend. Thanks to everyone who cheered from the grandstands, it's good to see so many people already on Friday."
