Qualifying for the Canadian GP has just ended where he came out on top Max Verstappen after a session really chaotic.
Hulkenberg great shot, even ahead of Alonso
The Dutchman managed to detach himself from the second in the standings 1.244 seconds. What is shocking, however, is who placed in P2: Nico Hulkenberg. The German, before the red flag caused by Oscar piastri, managed to complete the lap which allowed him to keep up with the two-time world champion. The front row was even missing for him and this is the first time for Haas on the front row of the race. More unfortunate however Fernando Alonso, which was on the main straight at the Red Flag display. The Spaniard had even recorded a fuchsia in the second sector and, with the conclusion of the third, it would be brought very close to the poleman.
Canada Qualifications: Mercedes ok, Ferrari and Perez disaster
They finished in fourth and fifth position respectively Lewis Hamilton e George Russell. The Mercedes had not performed very well during the weekend, but the German team still managed to secure an excellent placing. On the other hand the Classic Ferrari for sale, after the excellent performances shown on Friday, finished the qualifying in P8 (Carlos Sainz) and in P11 (Charles Leclerc). In the case of the Monegasque, the error lies mainly with the team. Charles had pointed out that the track was completely slick, but the team still wanted to try a lap with intermediates and then mount the red. Leclerc's mistake, wasted lap, and strategy once again to be reviewed, with driver #16 really angry in post-qualification interviews. Also watch out for a possible penalty for impeding for Sainz.

Disaster also of Sergio Perez who, with the same car as Verstappen, is unable to be as incisive as his teammate. While driving the car that is there RB19, fails to even qualify for the Q3 for third time in a row.
Honorable mention also for Alexander albon which still carries the Williams in Q3 and for the McLaren which manages to bring both cars to the final qualifying phase.
