The cars of F1 are always under development and observation by the engineers to be able to take full advantage of the potential. In AustraliaHowever, we expected to see few, if any, updates None. And instead, despite being on the other side of the world, the mechanics managed to come up with something before the important "boom" of new components that we will see after the break.
Updates: Which teams fitted them?
The teams of have always experimented medium-low ranking. In fact, even at Albert Park the new parts were present on single-seaters such as McLaren, Alpha Tauri o Williams. But also a top team decided to try something new: Red Bull. These are in fact the first changes to the appearance of the RB19 which was in all respects a copy of the RB18 Abu Dhabi version. Most important is certainly the new medium-high load front flap which serves to counteract the tendency of the car to understeer. Milton Keynes has also suggested a change to the concept of rear air intakes which improves brake cooling.

The "little cousin" of Red Bull, the AlphaTauri, was the team that made the most changes, but used only by Nyck de vries, although we will probably see them in Baku on both cars. Apart from minor changes here and there, the one that stands out the most is the underbody completely redesigned, from the area of the Venturi Canals to the diffuser, so as to accentuate the fundamental ground effect for these single-seaters.
Changes also for Alfa and Alpine
THEAlfa Romeo, however, has approached the philosophy of Ferrari, going to crush its front muzzle more and more, without however making it pointed like that of the red. McLaren instead carried out some basic tests with the specials paints used by the teams to monitor the flows in view of the substantial updates of Baku.
Finally Alpine brought new ones flow diverters seats near the halo, while Williams added some endplate to the rear wing. These updates, clearly inspired by Alpine e Aston Martin, are not the only ones for the English house. New ones were scrutinized on the two cars medium load flaps to the front wing.
All this, however, is only a small appetizer of revolutions which we will see after this short stop. So, in Azerbaijan, we could already see gods upheavals to the initial concept of the single-seaters of some teams, including Ferrari and Mercedes.
