It was a unpredictable race, full of retreats and more. In Singapore Sergio Perez wins in front of the two Ferrari by Leclerc and Sainz. An absolutely atypical top ten. Let's find out together the report cards of the seventeenth appointment of the year.
Perez's triumph
Sergio Perez
Little to say about Mexican. Today was unstoppable. As Horner said, it was his best race of the season. This is how he responds to criticism after a very difficult period. Vote 10.
Charles Leclerc
He gave everything. Charles drove extremely today. It was enough to see his on board to understand that it was certainly not an easy race. Grade 9.
Carlos Sainz
Not much to say about the Spaniard's performance. He was unable to keep pace with the two in front, but still made no mistake at the start in which he overtook Lewis Hamilton. Grade 7.
Off the podium
Lando Norris
After already a great qualifying, he overtook Alonso (later retired) at the start and managed to stay there. He takes advantage of Hamilton's mistake to end an excellent weekend. Grade 8.
Daniel Ricciardo
It's news to see him so far up in the standings, after a season full of difficulties. He is rarely seen in the middle of the action but manages the match very well. Rating 7.5.
Lance stroll
Great race from the Canadian. Clean and precise from the beginning of the weekend. Since Friday in fact he hits the top ten (missed only in qualifying). Rating 8.5.
Max Verstappen
It wasn't a great race. There are several difficulties on a track that doesn't offer many overtaking opportunities. The blocking in the final was also bad, which made him start again in the rear. His teammate Perez is much better. Grade 5.
Sebastian Vettel
An excellent result arrives for him too, like his teammate, which boosts him a lot in view of the next race in Suzuka. Grade 8.
Lewis Hamilton
Two mistakes not from Lewis. After getting off to a good start, and losing just one position, he was managing very well. Then, the mistake you don't expect: the first, against the block, which forces him to change the wing; the second in trying to overtake Vettel. Grade 5.
Pierre Gasly
Good race for the Frenchman who manages not to make many mistakes and is back in the points zone which is worth a lot for him and for the team. Rating 6.5.
