Third position at the conclusion of Austrian GP for Sergio Perez. The Mexican, party in fifteenth position, was the author of a fantastic comeback, even finishing on the podium.
Fever on Thursday, podium on Sunday
Checo's weekend didn't start in the best way. In fact, the pilot of the Red Bull he accused of fever in the night between Wednesday and Thursday which forced him to stay in the hotel. That probably also affected his qualification. In his interview, Perez talked a little about all this: “Comeback? I'm really happy. It was a difficult weekend for me, I felt ill on Thursday and it wasn't easy for me. I didn't sleep, I had a fever, but today the team helped me: we made a good strategy and obtained a good third position".

Perez-Sainz: a spectacular fight
The hottest laps of the race were certainly the last ones, when Sergio took the lead Carlos Sainz for third position. The Spaniard did broad shoulders with the Mexican, resulting in a battle of fire. Mental games on the part of both, with Perez moving under braking and Sainz wanting DRS, in this match there was all. The rider from the Milton Keynes team himself spoke about this and how he too, despite not being in the best condition, was truly amused: “Duel with Sainz? Nice battle, very tough but very fair. Fighting with him is a pleasure. The Ferraris were very fast, especially in the slow sections, with excellent traction.".
