To cross the finish line first in the first Sprint of the season it was Sergio Perez with her RedBull. His race is very solid and, with a car so efficient with the DRS, he makes everything seem so easy.
The hot words of the Mexican
In the post-race interview, the Mexican spoke of how he is very happy with the result, also considering the performance not optimal demonstrated in recent sessions: “It was a good victory after three complicated sessions. We had so much pressure on our team, engineers, mechanics at home and on us. We managed to bring home the maximum haul of points, which was the main objective, but obviously we know that tomorrow's race is the most important.".

Perez: "Tomorrow will be different"
The interview then continued and Checo replied on the position he will occupy tomorrow, which will be further back (he will start in P3), and what the team, but especially him, learned in this session: “We have learned a bit, but obviously tomorrow we will have a much higher fuel load and the track conditions will be different. Third place for tomorrow's race certainly won't be ideal, but I'll try and fight for the win.".
Perez's intentions are therefore clear: to repeat what he did today and win tomorrow too. Not only will Leclerc spoil his party, but also his teammate Max Verstappen, who will start in second position and will have no intention of letting his teammate pass.
