A day totally to forget for Ferrari. There Maranello stable esce from Australia with zero points in your pocket, following of Leclerc's out and the twelfth place of Sainz (due to the penalty of the FIA). Discussing the SF-23 we saw on the runway, is the team principal Frederic Vasseur spoke to the microphones of Sky:
“We are frustrated. We did a good job with a good recovery. Carlos had a bit of bad luck, but his pace was good nonetheless. We can discuss the penalty for hours: the strange thing is that the commissioners did not allow us to discuss with them. I tell you about the accident: 50% of the paddock would define it as a race accident, while others would blame Sainz. The most important thing though is that it would have been important to discuss it with the riders. For Charles it was a racing accident, Stroll was not blamed and therefore no penalty was given. I don't like these different parameters".

Vasseur: "I don't think there will be any changes"
On the subject instead of a possible appeal, Vasseur is very clear: “However, I don't think the FIA can review the penalty."
Coming instead to the race, the Ferrari team principal keep seeing improvements, with a look also on Baku: "I think today was a good Ferrari. We were fighting and not far from the top if we consider the tire management that Sainz had to do. The goal, however, is not to finish fourth: we are not too far away, we have to put everything together. We are all super motivated. The potential is there and our goal will be to put ourselves in the best position to fight”.
