The news that everyone was waiting for eventually it came. The FIA he refused il appeal filed by Ferrari on the cases of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez.
Ferrari points the finger
So nothing to do for the Maranello team. However, let us try to clarify: the red had officially appealed to the FIA against Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez, winner of the Monaco Grand Prix, for crossing the yellow line at the pit exit. Action that was not taken into consideration by the race directors during the course of the Grand Prix. Ferrari, however, based on what is evident from the regulation, has pointed the finger at the action committed by the two Red Bull drivers. For these reasons, Perez and Verstappen they were summoned at 19.15 from the race direction.

Ferrari appeal: the outcome of the meeting
After a long meeting, in which the pilots were heard Red Bull with its own team, and also Ferrari, the FIA issued the statement in which it confirmed that the appeal was rejected.
The motivations
According to the press release, the FIA on the situation dedicated to Sergio Perez said: “Ferrari admitted Perez did not have any part of the front or rear tires to the left of the yellow line. Ferrari admitted that the protest was unfounded."
As regards the Verstappen case, the FIA justified its choice:
“Article 5c of chapter IV of appendix L states that when leaving the pits the car must not cross the line. In this case the car did not cross the line. To do that, he should have had a full wheel to the left of the yellow line."
Nothing to do therefore for the Maranello team. Perez remains the winner of the Monaco Grand Prix, while Verstappen finishes firmly in third position.
