Last season we witnessed the first appointment on the new circuit Miami, built around the stadium of the Miami Dolphins of American football. The race wasn't bad at all, and some changes to the structure are expected from the last few interviews.
New surface for the circuit and relocation of the hospitality areas
The first change, already requested by the teams at the end of the grand prix, was the displacement of the hospitality of the latter in the Hard Rock Stadium area. The aim is to avoid the paddock not being crowded on the outside like in the previous season.
But the most important and most sensational one is that we will see a new asphalt after one year. This choice would have been taken by the organizers for raise the show and, therefore, i overtaking, albeit in 2022 we have seen quite a few 45, not bad if we see the expectations of the riders at first impact with the track. The new road surface will be supplied by a company that is certainly well known in F1, namely the Only, which has been supplying these materials to various tracks for years.

GP Miami: many external changes, but internal ones?
As mentioned, there will be enough exterior modifications that should add to the show on and off the track.
There will be no (at least for now) changes to the circuit layout, as explained by the managing partner of the Miami GP, Tom Garfinkel who, in a recent interview, explained how the ideas of the teams were conflicting with each other, especially in the chicane area. For this reason it was decided to leave everything as it is.
“The chicane area was developed this way for safety reasons”he said. “We spoke to all the team principals, with all the drivers, with F1 and with the FIA. There were differing opinions on the chicane; some pilots didn't like it, others thought it was fine. And throughout the grid, there weren't the same feedbacks. There was a little bit of everything”.
“After looking into the matter with the F1, the FIA and Tilke, we have decided not to make any changes at this time. We thought we'd flatten it out a bit. We are still evaluating the possibility of fine-tuning things, but for the moment nothing will change".
The only changes envisaged concern some escape routes, to bring the hospitality areas closer to the edge of the track.
“There will be fewer escape routes,” Garfinkel added. "Some hospitality areas will be closer to the track, but the layout is basically the same".
