Mercedes since the beginning of the season has had to fight hard against the phenomenon of pouring. The “negative” results or, at least, do not imagine from the German team are mainly due to machine jumping. But in recent races, this problem appears almost disappeared making it easier to compete for the silver arrows.

Miraculous updates
If at the beginning of the year we heard the radio teams of the seven times world champion Lewis Hamilton highlight how the updates brought in the circuits they didn't help the bad habit of the car (indeed it seemed got worse), now the conversations between the Mercedes pit wall and its drivers are quite different; even, in the Silverstone GP, we heard Russell say: “There isn't bouncing anymore", or there are no more jumps, to highlight how the updates brought to the W13 they worked, although from the rumors circulating in the paddock it seems that Mercedes is already working on the W14but there is nothing confirmed. And we also remember that from Belgian GP i will begin FIA controls on porpoising, according to which the cars will have to lift the car based on a fixed value which corresponds to the moment in which the car bounces and all this could facilitate a lot Mercedes.

Wolff smiles
In a recent interview with the Austrian media, the team principal of Brackley stables Wolff it seems be very happy of the updates that the team has managed to bring and that they might bring them back to Red Bull e Ferrari in the title fight: “I think the porpoising problem on our car has been resolved with the latest technical updates. If we were to rush back to Monaco e Baku, I think the situation would be a little different than it was a few weeks ago. We would not be exceptional, but for sure the performance would not be affected by the problems we have been facing until recently ”.
