If everything were to go in the right direction, the discussion it should close and Oscar Piastri would be officially a new McLaren driver. But it's still there a small obstacle to overcome for finish this race. The obstacle also has a name and it is Daniel Ricciardo. Piastri's compatriot, after the press release McLaren in which it is said that the Honey Badger it is no longer part of the plans of the English team, asked for a "small" severance pay for these years of service to the team, that is 21 million dollars.
