Liberty Media apologizes. This is what the president Greg Maffei, following the many works carried out to carry out the Las Vegas GPin program this weekend.
Liberty Media apologizes to the citizens of Las Vegas
There has been a lot of work, in view of a weekend that will not be seen as the classic Formula 1 weekend. There will be many events that will take place starting on Friday, starting from dawn. A true American celebration, Super Bowl style. For these reasons, in an exclusive interview granted to Fox5, the president of Liberty Media Maffei wanted to apologize in advance to all the inhabitants of the "Game Capital": "I would like to apologize to everyone in Las Vegas. We appreciated their enormous patience and their willingness to tolerate us. We brought like 1.7 million dollars in renovating all the areas that interested us: it is not only a benefit for the fans who will watch the GP, but also for those who come to watch the race. Hopefully all of this could be a great benefit, especially economic, for Las Vegas. We know this is the hardest time of the year with all the construction going on, but things will be better in the future. There will be around 105.000 people, and it will also be the largest event Las Vegas has ever had".

Maffei: “There will be a lot of guests and activities starting on Thursday”
The show, as mentioned, will not only be dedicated to the track, but will increase it the many guests invited throughout the week"There will be various activities for lunch from Thursday to Sunday, unished to a week full of events and musical artists. You will see many sports personalities and figures from other sports who will take part in the party".
What is hidden behind the price of tickets
A real celebration which, inevitably, can also be seen in the money invested (and requested) for the penultimate event of the season. From this aspect, however, Maffei confirms that behind the high prices there is not only the influence of Formula 1: "Many of the high prices frankly stem from costs that they are not entirely ours. I'm not berating our partners, but, you know, theFive-night minimums in hotels and things like that have contributed to increasing costs. It's not just the price of tickets".
