A good start, especially thinking about tomorrow. In qualifications of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Ferrari snatches the second row with Charles Leclerc in third place and Carlos Sainz in fourth.
No wake: that's right
A very good qualification for the Redheads, considering the excellent performance of the Red Bull, first with Verstappen and second with Perez. The Milton Keynes team's slipstream worked, while at Ferrari they preferred to avoid it. The goal is therefore moved to the race, with Leclerc dreaming of second place in the constructors' championship. To reach him, tomorrow he must absolutely finish ahead of Sergio Perez.
Leclerc: "Tomorrow we will give everything"
It certainly won't be easy. Leclerc knows it and, at the end of qualifying, he declared.
“Do better today? I had a 6-7 lock in the corners, but this is the position we deserve today. The Red Bulls were stronger. But we are in a good position for tomorrow. It will be a close battle with Checo, that's for sure. Team play? Carlos and I will also be able to collaborate and we will try to maximize the team result. Red Bull is stronger on Sunday, but we will give everything hoping to get second place in both the Drivers and Constructors. Vacation? We have to focus on tomorrow first. Nice to have made progress. The important thing is above all the second place among the Constructors. Then I'll go on vacation, I'll rest, and I'll come back next year hoping to do even better”.
