January is that transition month between the winter break and the reboot of F1 where anything can happen. And precisely because February, which is now upon us, is dedicated to the new single-seaters, it is reasonable to expect the renewals of contract during this time here. Everything suggested a renewal between Leclerc and Ferrari. Lastly, the arrival last January of Frederic Vasseur at the helm of the Rossa in place of Binotto. A commander Charles trusts. And it's important to have trustworthy people around you, especially when things go wrong.
When things go wrong you can only move forward. Life taught him this. A life he largely lived through a helmet, with his foot firmly on the accelerator. Life also taught him that there isn't too much time to think. We need to take every opportunity that comes our way, grab it and hold on to it while continuing to chase our dreams. He taught him that you cannot quantify your love for a person or for your passion. It is precisely for this reason that there is no expiry date on the renewal of the contract with Ferrari signed by Charles Leclerc.
There is only one starting point: 2025 or the year following the expiry of the first 5-year monster contract signed with Ferrari, in 2019. The longest contract ever given to a Ferrari driver, even more important given Charles' young age and the fact that it was his second year in F1. In one season, Charles had captured the hearts of everyone, fans and otherwise. Ferrari, on the other hand, had kidnapped him some time ago.

5 years together and who knows how many more
The relationship between Leclerc and Ferrari continues to be a special relationship after 5 years, targeted by the media who see the young Monegasque as a Czech in love. Incapable of seeing the reality of the facts. That is, of having been kidnapped by an obsessive love, from which it is difficult to free oneself, despite there having been many dark moments linked to a single-seater often not up to par.
What pushes him to move forward, however, is the realization of one thing. That is, Ferrari has always been the only option for Charles, even if an offer from another team had arrived. The reason is that fate has linked these two names, intertwining the threads in such a way that they can no longer distinguish the ends. He has done so since Charles took his first steps, approaching that colorful and noisy world that stimulates the curiosity of every child. Over the years he has changed, Ferrari has changed. But not the dream of being able to wear those colors.
By choice and by fate, Charles found himself in front of the Maranello gate thinking of the great deeds he could have accomplished with the Cavallino sewn onto his chest. How much he could have made his father, Jules, the fans proud. Who knows if he was truly aware of everything it meant to arrive at Ferrari with such a large baggage. He certainly learned this over the years. First alongside Sebastian Vettel, part companion, part big brother, then taking over from him. Intertwining his destiny more and more with that of the Red.
Challenging Max for glory, Carlos for honor but above all himself for love. A love that we don't know how to quantify but which pushes both of us to chase each other, to look for each other even after a bad argument.
