As much as I believed in it until the end, the World dream for Charles Leclerc is finished with Max's victory Verstappen in the Suzuka GP. The Monegasque tries, pushes to the limit, but it's not enough to postpone that moment that the Ferraristi hoped would come as far as possible.

Leclerc's words
Leclerc has nothing to reproach himself with: he makes a start monstre, is practically ahead of Verstappen, but the Dutchman pulls at him a fearsome braking on the outside in turn 1 and resumed the position. From there, the Monegasque try to push as hard as you can and, with full wet rubber, the wheelbase is practically the same. But after the pit stop, everything changes: the intermediates they wear out within 3 rides it's the only one red remained on the track loses 2 seconds per lap from Perez, who recovers it and, in the last minutes of the match, engages a beautiful battle with the Mexican which ends, however, with the penalty for Leclerc after having cut the last chicane and took the lead. In his interview, Leclerc talked about his race and how the tires work were destroyed in just over 4 laps; also, he gives his biggest compliments to Max for the title and talks about how he will stay focused along with the team to be able to win as much as possible in these last races.
"Today it was really a struggle and a pain with the tires in the closing laps. It had already happened in the final laps: we started well but then after a few laps we destroyed the tyres. Big congratulations to Max on his second title. We will continue to push until the end. Sure, it's frustrating. We didn't have any rhythm today, the pace was gone after 4 laps, but that's how it went. The goal is to complete the year well. Max's title was only a matter of time. We expected him to win the championship title. We need to take advantage of these last few races to improve as a team and do better next year.".
