After three complicated races, between misfortunes and driving errors, Charles Leclerc complete a good weekend in Baku. Two poles in two days, a second place in the sprint and a third place in Sunday's race. Today, Ferrari's number 16 gave it his all and took it home 15 points excellent for making him climb up in the drivers' standings.
Leclerc's words
About the superpower of the Red Bulls, who passed it as soon as the DRS was available, Leclerc comments: "Their they are of another category when it comes to the race. Our great ride [in qualification, ed] it served to put us in front but then after a few laps it was not possible to keep them behind".
“They had a lot more pace than us in the race. As I said yesterday, they have found something that we haven't been able to find yet and we have to try and concentrate on this, to try and find more performance, especially in the race.".

The feeling, however, is one Ferrari closer to Red Bull than it was in the first three rounds of the season, even without updates. In this regard, Leclerc explains: "The feeling is a little better, but when I see the gap it's clear that they haven't always pushed one hundred percent. We don't know, therefore, exactly how close we got. The sensations are a bit better, but the Aston Martin also seemed quicker today, therefore there is still a lot of work to do".
A solitary race for Leclerc, detached by tens of seconds from the Red Bulls and under pressure from Alonso only in the final stages. Regarding the fight with Alonso: “I knew what his intentions were at the start, because he always tries to manage the tires at the start of the stint and then push at the end. I was trying to do the same thing; in the end it was close but not close enough".
